Purposes and features
The MQQSD-B series automatic braking localizer (hereinafter referred to as ‘brake’) can enable the wheel of the crane that is blown away by wind to roll over the bulge at the tip of the iron shoe and then fall into the concave part behind the iron shoe. The wheel can be reliably fixed on the iron shoe and separated from the tram road absolutely. This can effectively prevent the wheel from bouncing to the iron shoe after striking it. All of the pressure from the crane wheel to the iron shoe can create friction brake resistance between the bottom of the iron shoe and the tram road, which can forcibly make the crane blown away by wind slow down and brake. Each crane need to be equipped with four brakes, and two brakes are installed on each side in the moving direction of the crane, so that when the crane turns left or right, there are always two brakes for fixing the crane. It features low profile, easy operation, and operating safety and reliability.
